Grooved Joint Fittings include two broad categories of products:
- The pipe fittings which have the function of connecting and sealing are rigid joint, flexible joint, mechanical tee and groove flange.
- There are connecting the transitional role of the pipe elbow, tee, four-way, reducing pipe, blind, etc.
The groove connection pipe fitting which plays the role of connecting and sealing has three parts:
- Sealing rubber ring
- Clamp
- Locking bolt
The rubber sealing ring located in the inner layer is arranged on the outer side of the connected pipeline. It is matched with the groove which is rolled in advance. The clamp is fastened on the outside of the rubber ring, and then fastened by two bolts. Because the rubber sealing ring and the clamp adopt the special structure design which can be sealed, the groove connecting piece has the good sealing performance. With the increase of the fluid pressure in the pipe, the sealing performance is enhanced accordingly.
