4.According to the radius of curvature:
There are long radius elbow and short radius elbow.
Long radius elbow means that its radius of curvature is equal to 1.5 times the outer diameter of the pipe, that is, R=1.5D;
Short radius elbow means that its radius of curvature is equal to the outer diameter of the pipe, that is, R=1.0D.
(D is the diameter of the elbow, R is the radius of curvature).
5.Pressure level: Sch5s, Sch10s, Sch10, Sch20, Sch30, Sch40s, STD, Sch40, Sch60, Sch80s, XS; Sch80, SCH100, Sch120, Sch140, Sch160, XXS;
The most commonly used are STD and XS.
Reducers have two types: concentric reducers and eccentric reducers, suitable for different scenarios:
Concentric reducer:
- The center lines of the inlet and outlet pipes are on the same line, the reduction is uniform, and there is no offset.
- The structure is simple, easy to manufacture and install.
- Suitable for most conventional pipeline systems.
Eccentric reducer:
- The center lines of the inlet and outlet do not overlap.
- It can control the flow direction of the fluid to a certain extent, suitable for specific application scenarios.
- Reduce the complexity and cost of the pipeline system, such as avoiding additional elbows or turning equipment.
