Product Description
A black taper seat is a type of malleable cast iron fitting used in plumbing, heating, and climatic systems. It’s designed for joining two fixed pipes together where the pipes cannot be turned. The maximum permissible working pressure for this fitting is 25 bars.
The taper unions extrude each other through the inner and outer conical inclined planes to form a sealing surface. Different from normal taper unions, brass taper unions use brass for sealing surfaces. It has good anti-rust properties.
When you buy, please make sure that this key has two male and female interfaces. The union of the cone seat guarantees a better seal and ensures that your piping system does not leak. The cone seat of this union is made of copper, which will further improve the sealing.
